You can use BeatVegas as a guest. Guests get a small daily cap of hold calculations (game, pay table, deal). That cap is counted on this device and, to limit extra browsers/incognito farming, as a hashed IP for the calendar day — we do not store raw IP addresses. Optional accounts use email and password and get a higher daily cap. Social login is coming soon. We store your account id, display name, email, daily deal counts, legal-accept versions, optional marketing-email preference, and — if you subscribe — a Stripe customer/subscription id. We do not sell this information.
Pay-table settings, favorites, 21+ age-gate confirmation, and guest mistake history stay on your device in localStorage. Signed-in accounts may store practice hold comparisons (cards, holds, EV) so you can replay weak spots — practice data only, no cash value. We may also log hold decisions (variant, cards, optimal vs your hold, EV) to improve practice tools such as Challenge Mode. Clearing site data removes the guest counters and those device settings.
Email: transactional messages (password reset, billing receipts from Stripe) are sent as needed to operate your account. Promotional email (“practice tips and Pro offers”) is optional. On signup we show an unchecked box: “Email me practice tips and Pro offers.” We store marketing_opt_in, the time, the source (signup or account), a hashed IP (not the raw address), and the Privacy / Terms version you accepted. Existing accounts without a choice default to opted out. You can turn promotional email on or off anytime on the Account page. We are not sending promotional email yet. To opt out later, use Account or email support@beatvegasnow.com.
Pro is a paid subscription for unlimited practice deals, billed by Stripe when checkout is enabled. Optional “Buy me a coffee” goes to Ko-fi and is a tip, not a subscription. We do not load ad networks or Google Analytics. A privacy-friendly pageview counter may be enabled at deploy (no cookies).
